Payment & Assessment
Utah property taxes are due November 30 (a payment postmarked by November 30 is on time). If you're late but pay by January 31, the penalty is 1% of the unpaid tax or $10, whichever is greater. After January 31, the penalty becomes 2.5% or $10, whichever is greater, plus interest dating back to January 1. Most counties offer online payment through the county treasurer's website.
